Shutter Problems with Canon EOS300D

Has anyone encountered problems with their Canon EOS300D, I ve had mine a few years, and today when taking photos, I reviewed the pictures and found that the pictures were 'blacked out' except for 1/8 (or so) from the top. This appears, and Im guessing here, to be a shutter related problem. Tried to change the lenses, but get the same result each time.

Any help would be great

Looks exactly the kind of problem i had.
My first choice camera Shop in London (photoptix ) has gone into Liquidation, so i went to Jessops, hoping not to speak to the 'saturday' Persons. The manager put it through its paces, and with what i had said, we both agreed it was shutter related, They made a phone call, and said a repair time of 4-6 weeks, and about £300 + to repair....
As i cant live without a camera, I went and Brought a EOS400D for about £350 (Includes the £45 cash back).
Might have to print this off and get them to re evaluate now we know whats wrong..
Big thank You
