2.0 Converter for 55-250 lens?

Hello everyone this is my first post I am thinking of buying the Canon EF-S 55-250/4,0-5,6 IS lens. And I am wondring if there is any 2.0 converter that is comatible with that lens? And if the result will be good? Basically what I want is a 500mm lens that won´t cost me more then 700 dollars.
The lens costs 371 dollars in sweden by the way so this might be a hard challenge to find a 129 dollar converter.. maybe Ill have to import Look forward to all your helpful answers and tips about other lenses or solutions for my 500 mm need Thanks!

i REALLY think the drop in IQ with a 2x will make this option a waste of money my only thouhts are to get a 150/500 sigma but not sure of the price in Sweden

I'd second that. From what I've seen and read, using a 2x converter will lead to disappointment, so the better option would be the 150-500 sigma.
